If I push up a couple branches implementing some new themes, would y'all entertain changing it? I kinda don't like the one we use now.

I'm equal between https://themes.gohugo.io/hyde-hyde/ and https://themes.gohugo.io/hyde/. I kind of like how the former preserves our current kind of look and feel with a slight modern touch.

I'm happy to go with consensus on different theme. My only suggestion is that we change to one that still gives us the ability to anchor w/ headers, otherwise we will have long pages of content without users being able to navigate quickly to the sections that they need.

I'm good with hyde or hyde-hyde. Probably hyde-hyde only because I'm not crazy about the sidebar font, but it's not as if we can't change that if we want to.

I think this one might hit all our criteria, and be the easiest migration. Better use of screen real estate IMO, and it still has active development. Material Docs hasn't had a comment since spring of 2017.

That's a nice theme! And similar layout so we'd keep the same rough feel of the site.

Yes, that's my initial thoughts. It'll take a fair bit of work to port it over, but it can be done. Big thing with this one is it's all on one page basically. ...which would probably mean a lot of our urls would break. 🤔

...maybe we just continue with the status quo 🤷‍♂️

Yeah, I think broken urls + time might mean continuing with status quo makes sense. If we moved to a one-page layout we’d need to reconsider where we host the AUT docs too I think (since they’re so long and the headers might dominate the menu bar).
