I actually saw an example for putting the memory of lost ones to good use last month when visiting the children museum UNIKATUM in Leipzig, where the exhibition featured love letters that were once hand-written to the grandmother of the person designing the exhibition. |

This has been on my mind since I've first experienced losses, but I've never let those thoughts out very much. Not sure whether and how I actually will in the future, but perhaps this ticket — which is triggered by the loss of my last grandparent — can serve as a channel to reflect on that in a more open and systematic way and help me collect information on what others have done in this regard.
