E.g. in this example, the lexeme is about breath, i.e. the air that is being moved by breathing, as in the suggested German gloss.
In contrast, the suggested glosses for English, French and Russian are all about the processes of breathing and while inaccurate for Der Atem, they would be appropriate for
Das Atmen or Die Atmung.
