What happens now?

This submission is currently in a pre-review state which means we are waiting for an editor to be assigned and for them to find some reviewers for your submission. This may take anything between a few hours to a couple of weeks. Thanks for your patience 😸

You can help the editor by looking at this list of potential reviewers to identify individuals who might be able to review your submission (please start at the bottom of the list). Also, feel free to suggest individuals who are not on this list by mentioning their GitHub handles here.

👋 @alemon-aquaveo - thanks for your submission to JOSS. Before we can assign an editor and reviewers I need you to fix up your submission paper (paper.md) file.

Please note, both the paper metadata (the YAML header) and the paper contents need work. Please take a look at our submission guidelines to get a better understanding of what your paper should contain.

In addition, the README in your repository is very short and it's not immediately clear what the purpose of this software is.

You might find it helpful to review the review criteria we will ask the reviewers to follow.

👋 @alemon-aquaveo - given the lack of progress in the last 2 months, I plan to remove this submission in a few days - you can resubmit it when you are ready. Or, if you are close to ready, and want us to resume the process soon, please let us know.
