In more detail: This software does seem useful and citable, e.g., for simulations of particulate flows, but not appropriate for JOSS on its own. A library of geometric primitives for distance/contact evaluation, with an integrated API that includes the present implementation, would be appropriate and valuable, and would be a good new submission in the future. I'm going to mark this as rejected, but if you further extend this as described above or in some other manner, please feel free to submit that extended version. |
